On August 29, KTNET President and CEO Ryu Chang Moo held a roundtable meeting with CEOs of KTNET's 11 e-trade cooperating firms, including President Hak-Hee Han of Matrix 2B and President Taek Yoon Kim of ReadyKorea, to discuss ways of solidifying mutual cooperation and roles between KTNET and the cooperating firms in the development of e-trade.
At the meeting held particularly at the juncture of entering the second-phase e-trade platform establishment project, KTNET and its cooperating firms agreed to cooperate for establishment of the best-class e-trade platform and also decided to organize a task force team for development of e-trade and mutual cooperation.
President Ryu said KTNET would do its best to establish a world-class e-trade infrastructure, asking for the cooperating firms' active collaboration in that effort, and suggested, "Let's cope with the rapidly changing business environment through a new partnership."
For mutual growth, KTNET also decided to implement a wide variety of projects to support its cooperating firms, such as 'introduction of an e-trade-specialized cooperating company system,' 'set-up of a common web community between KTNET and cooperating firms' and 'joint research and support for development projects.' Through regular CEO meetings and working-level roundtables, KTNET plans to strengthen ties with its cooperating firms further in the future. |
